CrackBerry

I broke down and ordered a PDA on Tuesday because my RAZR was so decrepit that it was no longer practical as a cell/land-line and it was here by Thursday night. I figured that there were no other decent small phone options from my service provider so I might as well go big or go home.

So stoked, but I can see why these things are so addictive.

I'm gonna get one too. Probably the Motorola Q. It's funny, I use my phone more for texting and emailing than actual talking.

We'll know how addicted you are when you start to twitter from it on the blog...

Let me know which one you got, and how yo like it.

I've been debating between a BB and a Treo for awhile.

lp - too true!

eric - I got the Nokia E62. I really wanted the Blackberry Curve but it's not out in Canada yet

I like the Nokia a lot more than I though I would, it doesn't have a camera ubt I'm not one of those people who thought camera phones were a swell idea.

It's got a lot of really useful apps like a pdf reader and the golf game on it is pretty good. I'm still getting used to the interface thought since it's probably been about 4 or 5 years since I last owned a Nokia.

I like it better than the Blackberry Pearl, but that's just me.

does it have like a full featured web browser or one of those lame mini browser...

the idea of having a phone that I can check gmail, type witty retorts, and update my site on makes me cream my pants...

hrm. well. I suppose I spared your site from indecent awkward comments for too long.

I haven't really used the browser as much as I could have (my data plan doesn't come into effect until my next billing cycle) but it seems like a pretty high-functioning mini browser.

I didn't have a problem loading most of the pages I navigated to (and I wasn't looking at pages optimized for mobile browsing either)
