When Poetic License Goes Wrong

- or Another Day, Another Scandal.

Turns out I needn't look very far for the next book on my 'to-read' list.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for a fallen woman and memoirs, even if their veracity turns out to be questionable (read: entirely untrue).

I suppose we can just add this to the long list of things that white people like.

I heard about this book. I always wonder why people choose to make something into a memoir. Like, what not write it as fiction? Why not just call it fiction? It baffles me.

Yeah. I'm sure that it's just because memoirs sell better. They're like the tabloids of the publishing world...
