It has been a little over three weeks since I first started talking to him again. The Engineer and I haven't spoken in God knows how long, mostly because we're both always trying to out-do each other in the asshole department.
It all blew up in my face after a particularly bad confrontation about Facebook over GChat sometime last year. It was pretty insignificant and petty, but as is my style, I just couldn't let it go.
He was the one who sent an exploratory missive my way and we've been talking ever since, just like old times except without the relationship-denial part.
