Canada Day seems to get less and less scandalous as I put less effort into it.
A rather blase event, nothing terribly spectacular, but fun, although subdued. I ended up soberly chatting up The Engineer, nonchalantly inviting him to come up and stay with me this week and be my date to a friend's birthday dinner.
I can't quite decide how I feel about this turn of events but I'm sure I'll have a better idea once morning comes...
