It's tough being so popular

We had two parties to attend last night. We made our way over to the Lammie house to pick up our phone (they lamely stole our phone, among other things, from us about 3 weeks ago when we were nice enough to invite them to our party - the only reason we didn't pick it up sooner is because we have 2 other phones in our house and we all have cell phones). They claimed that they had no idea where it was (thanks Evan), so we left for Waffle's house a couple of blocks away.

Pancake was spending the night there so she dropped off her stuff and we made our way back to the Lammie house. We didn't bring drinks because we were planning on drinking at the KA house (our second stop of the night). Latte and Onion made a brief cameo at the party, because they were socializing at AAB's house. We stayed around at the Lammie house for about an hour, then we left and told them we'd be back we just had to go buy candy.

We stopped at a convenience store, and then made our way over to the KA house for some martinis. We ended up getting about 4 or 5 drinks for free over the course of the night and we ran into our fave server, Kristin, at the party. There was some dancing, some disco ballin' and some random photo ops. We partied until about 2 am and then made our way back to the Lammie party.

It had picked up a little since we had last been there and there were actually some people that we knew (other than the Lammies since most of them seemed to be too busy trying to hook up). Around 3am we made plans to go to this diner nearby for food, a plan that lasted all of five minutes. By the time we got outside, we realized how tired we all were and bid each other a good night.

Some memorable quotes from the night:

Waffle (to Matty about her blog address): I'll email it to you...well probably not since I don't have your address

Brown Bling Guy (to us as we were leaving the Lammie party for the first time): Wow, [your] frat party was way better than this party!

i'm out, team gingerbread

p.s. For Pancake and a few other who have mentioned this: I fixed the comments thing. I tried to use this comment management software, and decided I hated it, and then it temporarily (basically up until now) screwed up the comments. It should work now on the RSS feed.
