Instrumental Break

I've been cleaning my room for the past hour primarily out of shame. One of The Roadtrip Queen's many suitors (although they're just friends now) picked her sister up from the bus depot. TRQ offered dinner in exchange and that's how The Masseuse ended up standing in my doorway commenting on the absolute disarray.

Thanks. My room appears to be messy, but really it's just an abundance of clothing - so much so that when everything (or more than 75% of it) is clean, there's no room for all the clothes. I've come to accept it, and since I'm not ready to donate any of my clothes (I'll wait until our next sorority clothing drive) that's the way it's going to stay.

The physical layout of my room prevents me from owning a dresser as three of the four walls have something major going on: a picture window, two closets and my bedroom door/desk, respectively. That leaves one wall for my bed, and some room under the window for a shelving unit, a couple side tables, a dvd tower, and a couple of chairs. The middle of my room is free from clutter for the most part.

I'm about halfway through the cleanup and I stopped for some coffee and a slim-fast muffin bar (it was free). As I was putting away the clothes, I realized just how many of my clothes come from J.Crew, American Apparel and American Eagle, my point? I forgot...

Can someone please explain to me the appeal of James Blunt? I hate this guy - he comes off as a total douche in interviews. Not only do his songs suck, but that 'You're Beautiful' song was featured on DAYS! He's so lame I can't even talk about him anymore.

On the subject of terrible music, what's the worst music that is currently loaded up on you iPod. My list:

* the entire ABBA collection
* Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
* Justin Timberlake - Justified
* about 1G of relaxation and meditation music (with titles such as amazon rainforest - the sounds of birds, carribean shores - the sound of waves crashing, and steel drums off in the distance, and the secret waterfall - the sounds of rushing water and pan flutes)
* 5 songs from Ashlee Simpson (1 of which was legally downloaded/payed for from the iTunes music store)
* 3 songs from Lindsay Lohan (1 of which I loved so much that I created an mp3 ringtone to honour it!)
* 2 Kevin Federline (Britney's white-trash husband) songs
* all 5 OC mix cds
* an EP and a full-length album from Juliette & the Licks (Juliette Lewis' band)
* 1 Britney Spears song (but it's a Death From Above remix, and it's unrealeased)

Top that bitches!
