Saturday night's show definitely lived up to my expectations. I've been somewhat obsessed with 'Dragonette' since I discovered them by way of some long-forgotten music blog almost 2 years ago. Even though they were the last opening band, their performance overshadowed that of The Most Serene Republic by far, and it was obvious that most of the attendees were actually there to see Dragonette by the sudden availability of decent standing room after their short, but spirited, set.
You'll definitely see me front-row upon their slated return in March.

Um.. It was packed for TMSR
Define 'packed' anon. It wasn't a sold-out show by any means and about a quarter of the crowd left right after D's set. Don't get me wrong, MSRP put on an awesome show, but they weren't the belles of the ball...
