I guess my somewhat morbid obsession with Gossip Girl is rooted in my trashy childhood love of Sweet Valley High and Babysitters Club books. Which kind of explains my fascination with

As much as I read, and re-read BSC, SVH
was still is my secret passion. I read every incarnation of the series, Sweet Valley Kids, Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley University, The Super Specials, and if I remember correctly, the Sweet Valley Mysteries - hell, I even watch ed the short-lived, and terrible, TV series.
Reading Casey's synopses of the asinine plots really makes me want to call my dad and have him send me my collection of SVH book. I know I have a couple of copies kicking around because I once made The Engineer bring me money so that I could buy a SVU book - best $4 I've ever spent!

OMG, OMG! Thanks for the blast from the past. I LOVED the Baby Sitters Club, Sweet Valley High and the Sleepover Friends. I couldn't wait to order my books each week. Ahh...life was simpler then. *sigh*
