The Panic Attack

I've been under a lot of pressure lately for various reason, hence the anger and the short-temperedness and my general hatred of human kind...blah, blah, blah. I've hada migraine on and off for the better part of two weeks now. It got to the point where I went through an entire Costco-size bottle of Super Strength Motrin (my go to, in case you were wondering) in as many weeks.

It had either been so minor for the last few days that I didn't notice or it had started to go away, that is until it decided to come back with a vengeance on my break from work on what felt like the longest day ever. Suddenly the pain was so intense that I almost couldn't see, much less eat and was totally disoriented. I had to retire from the food court early to seek solace in the cool banck room, only to have my ears assaulted by the musical stylings of one Mr. Chad Kroeger (courtesy of the ho bags at the store next door) while I tried valiantly to stay upright on an unstable stool perched amongst boxes in the back room with the lights off.

MY mouth watered and I started sweating. I couldn't breathe for about 5 minutes - which is quite soothing when you're inn an enclosed environment by the way and all I wanted to do is go home and die, but I persevered because I was scheduled to work a double today because I had forgotten to do payroll the night before, and then I had an impromptu manager's meeting scheduled later that night so calling in sick wasn't really an option.

Now I'm at home and on my way to bed so that I can get up at the crack of dawn to go to school.

I got a delivery notice in the mail today meaning it will be available for pickup tomorrow afternoon after school, so that's something to look forward to at least.
